Benefit for Renee Platz

Benefit will include a bean bag tournament for youths ages 12-18 at 2 p.m. at the community center and an adult tournament behind Ship’s Inn. Call Ship’s Inn at 793-2690 to register. A bake sale, raffle and supper will be held at the community center from 4-8 p.m., with BBQ pork sandwiches, macaroni salad, baked beans and bars. A freewill offering will be taken. Raffle drawings will take place at 8 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at Ship’s Inn. The benefit will help defray medical expenses for chemotherapy.
