Fall Hunter Safety Course

The course will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Hamlin County Sportsman’s Club (west of Stone Bridge on Lake Poinsett), and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Ike’s Clubhouse (west side of Lake Poinsett north of the golf course). Both days must be attended to complete the class. Students are asked to bring a sack lunch for Saturday noon and dress accordingly for the weather. The free course is sponsored by GF&P. Online preregistration is required. Click here to register. Successful completion of a Hunter Safety Course is required by law of every person under age 16 who wishes to hunt in South Dakota.
