Spring Hunter Safety Course

The course will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday at the Ike’s Clubhouse (west side of Lake Poinsett). Both days must be attended to complete the class. Students are asked to bring a sack lunch for Saturday noon and dress accordingly for the weather. The free course is sponsored by Gf&P. Preregistration is required. Click here to register. Successful completion of a Hunter Safety Course is required by law of every person under age 16 who wishes to hunt in South Dakota. You must be turning 12 before Dec. 31 or older to attend.
