Tornado Siren Testing

The National Weather Service is observing Severe Weather Awareness Week, April 25-29. All outdoor warning systems will be activated at 10:15 a.m. on April 27 as part of the statewide tornado drill. The NWS will have daily weather safety information on its website. In Aberdeen, the site is weather.gov/abr. Families, schools and businesses are encouraged to practice where you would take shelter in the event of a tornado warning and discuss tornado safety rules.
