Voter registration deadline for Primary Election

Voter registration ends for the June 4 primary election closes at 5 p.m. If you are in doubt about whether you’re registered, check the Voter Information Portal at sdsos.gov or call 783-3201. Registration can be completed during normal business hours at the county auditor office, city finance office, secretary of state office and locations that provide drivers license, SNAP, TANF, WIC, military recruitment and assistance to the disabled. You may also contact the county auditor for a mail-in registration form or access a form at sdsos.gov. Anyone with disabilities who needs assistance may contact the county auditor for information and special assistance.
