The Castlewood City Library is open Wednesdays from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. It's located west of the Community Center/City Office building on Main Street.
No batteries, tires or wire. Only city residents are allowed to use the city dump. A log book will be used.

Carolee Little will speak at a Presbyterian Women event, starting at 7 p.m. She will talk about her son Isaac's journey from his hometown to the city and back again. All are welcome. Pie will be served following the presentation.

The theme for Homecoming 2024 is "Can't Stop the Music." Battle of the Classes will be held all week, with the winner announced during the pep rally Friday.
The CHS homecoming king and queen will be crowned at a coronation ceremony at 7:30 p.m. at the football field. After coronation, the student body (7-12) will have the burning of the "W" followed by street painting. Candidates are Emerson Carter, Hailee Raasch, Shae Solsaa, Jarin Eidson, Camron Eng and Paul Everson.

The FPC Fall Dinner will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church dining room. The menu includes roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, salads, pies and other desserts. Free will offering - everyone welcome!
