South Dakota's first high school Ducks Unlimited chapter will hold a dinner and fundraising night at Tables Steakhouse. 5th & 6th Grade Basketball Tournament
at the Castlewood School. Sponsored by the First Presbyterian High School Youth Group with proceeds going to support their bi-annual mission trip. Admission is $2 for students and $6 for adults. Concessions will be available. Games start at 8:30 a.m.
Special Olympics Polar Plunge
The 2026 Polar Plunge will be held at City Park on Lake Kampeska at 2 p.m. Students and adults from Castlewood will be jumping for the NESC Rockets, with a goal of raising funds to support local athletes competing in Special Olympics events.
